Brad L. Hitzfield
President/CEO
My construction experience started directly out of high school. For five years I worked as an ironworker focusing on steel erection and metal panel installation on commercial and industrial projects. After my field experience, I graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Construction Technology. During my four year degree at Purdue, I was an exchange student with a college in Great Britain (GB). The focal point of my education in GB was architecture. This one year period gave me a very good feeling of the architect’s perspective. After completing my formal education, I established and maintained a profitable office for a national supplier and erector of metal wall panels. After 16 years of service I resigned and founded ProCLAD, Inc. In my tenure I have designed three new factory insulated metal panel systems and one window system designed to integrate with an insulated metal panel. I also serve on the board of directors for three local businesses.

Steve P. Miller
Vice President and Director of Construction
I began my career in the construction industry as a means of working my way through college. While in college, I worked for a local commercial roofing contractor in Indianapolis. During this time I developed my architectural sheet metal skills as a union sheet metal worker. After becoming a foreman, I began managing multiple-crews on several projects that ranged from $10K to $1.2mil. After graduating from college, I was promoted to Project Manager and managed the commercial roofing division with sales of $12 million annually. This position allowed me to develop my accounting and business savvy that I have utilized with ProCLAD, Inc. since 2004.

Michael Shipley
Vice President and Director of Estimating
My experience in the construction industry began over thirty years ago as a millwright and welder installing overhead conveyors and equipment for new manufacturing plants. Armed with field experience and a degree in Mechanical Engineering, I was hired by HH Robertson’s Engineering Department, a Fortune 500 company that specialized in the manufacturing and installation of metal wall panels, integrated windows, curtainwall, concrete deck and steel support systems. Declining a request to accept a permanent transfer to the corporate office, I left HH Robertson and prior to my employment with ProCLAD, spent the last several years running the East Coast office of a large metal panel installer. Utilizing my expertise in estimating, engineering, project management and in place quality, I make sure that our Estimating and Engineering Department develops competitive quotes and accurate shop drawings for our customers in a timely manner.

Bea White
Human Resource Director
My construction experience began while I was pursuing my BS in Construction Technology at Purdue University. I worked as a Field Inspector for a city engineering department and Assistant Project Manager for a residential developer. After graduation I worked for a civil and environmental firm as Project Engineer on projects such as landfill design, Phase I and II environmental site assessments and groundwater remediation. I have been working at ProClad since its’ inception as HR Director. Although my career path has changed, my education and experience have given me an understanding of the specialty contracting process of ProClad.
